Malverns at Night

lockdown restrictions eased and we were allowed to travel for exercise again. still feeling a little itchy about the situation, we chose to avoid the masses and go out when very few would. the malverns, although not close to us, is still our closest substantial hills to travel to. we arrived in malvern around 6:30pm and set off hoping for it to be fully dark by the time we arrived at our first summit. we timed it well.

Looking from North Hill to Worcestershire Beacon. wishing i had brought a tripod for better shots. oh well handheld fuzzy ones it is.

ascending towards worcestershire beacon and we have seen 1 person so far.

worcestershire beacon. cold, windy but also peaceful. a great time to be up here.

I've brightened things up slightly in this photo to show something at least as it was so dark. Heading towards Perseverance Hill.

Looking back to worcestershire beacon. So dark and handheld i've pretty much given up taking photos. Damn! should have brought my tripod.

The pictures certainly don't do this walk any justice. Hiking up onto the Malvern Hills at night was a great idea and will definitely be something we do again in the future
