My second time doing this walk and i was pretty excited about showing catherine and noah what was beyond bolton abbey. it seems that 2020 although being a bit on the crap side has had it's moments, most of which were in yorkshire. This time around it was nice to visit the stepping stones near the abbey and the stretch from the abbey to the wooden bridge which i had missed last time. it was warmer today than expected and we didn't take enough fluids with us. seeing the ice cream van at barden bridge was a huge relief for noah. Maybe one day he will learn not to chug all of this water before the halfway point.
