River Manifold from Weag's Bridge
Starting back along the Manifold Way
Through the trees we could see we were getting closer to Thor's Cave
Thor's Cave was a home to bears and the site of a stoneage burial
After crossing a narrow bridge we followed the winding path through woodland
Thor's Cave huge entrance
Looking out towards Sugarloaf and Wetton Hill
Further into the cave it got very dark and wet
A huge gouge lets in light
Looking towards the light from a more uncomfortable area
wonderful colours created by water
Mark making his way back down the very slippery slope
Perched above Thor's Cave. Ecton Hill, Sugarloaf and Wetton Hill behind
Looking back at Thor's Cave from the Manifold Way
