I found this route online and as there weren't that many photos to look at, I really wasn't sure what to expect. The reason I chose this route was because there was one thing i knew i would get and that is something it seems the North yorkshire Moors seems to lack... rock! I set off nice and early and i must have only seen a total of 4 people throughout the walk. Cold Moor was easily crossed apart from some minor bog hopping at the start and then it wasn't long before I was on the Cleveland Way looking out towards rOSEBERRY tOPPING FROM THE EDGE OF THE MOORS. tHE GORGEOUS VIEWS CONTINUED AS I TRAVERSED THE MUCH NEEDED ROCKY ELEMENT THAT IS hASTY bANK. I then descended and crossed over to Urra Moor before arriving back in the village of Chop gate. A great little walk with superb views, moorland and some rock!!
